We're a group of content creators from different professional backgrounds. Our combined skills, diverse experience and complimentary aesthetics inform every project. Our work includes commercials, feature films, content for the web and for social media. We're based in Los Angeles and San Francisco, but we also work in other cities. We strive for beauty, humor and authenticity.
Writer/director Barry Jenkins' award-winning feature, Medicine for Melancholy, premiered at South by Southwest and went on to screen at the Toronto International Film Festival, among many others. It was nominated for three Independent Spirit Awards and released by IFC Films. The New York Times called it one of the best features of 2009.
Director/producer Michael Jacobs' feature documentary Audience of One screened at Lincoln Centers's New Directors / New Films and received a Special Jury Award from South by Southwest. It was released by Sundance Channel and IndiePix.
Executive producer and filmmaker Ryan Simon started out at Anonymous Content where he worked on commercials, films and developed integrated projects. He is currently in post-production on his second documentary feature and takes photographs in his down time.
Justin Barber is a director, producer and CG artist. He produced Medicine for Melancholy, and is a founding member of Oddball Animation.
Matt Woods is a producer with a background in entertainment law and manages Strike Anywhere's business affairs. He also curates Woodsy's Record Store, our seasonally-rotating internal mixtape.
